BLUE BELL, PA, UNITED STATES, August 28, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — American Reading Company is proud to share that ARC Core® is featured on the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s list of recommended curriculum materials for K-5 evidence-based reading instruction.
Developed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the PDE Reading Leadership Council, the list identifies curriculum materials that have received positive evaluations through nationally recognized clearinghouses, including the Colorado Department of Education who approved ARC Core for use in CO earlier this year, using transparent, research-based review processes aligned with Pennsylvania’s requirements for evidence-based reading instruction.
For Pennsylvania educators, this recognition identifies another high-quality resource as districts work to strengthen literacy instruction. ARC Core brings together knowledge building, structured phonics, connected reading and writing instruction, and differentiated support within consistent daily routines that help teachers build strong literacy systems across classrooms and grades.
“As a Pennsylvania-based company, we’re especially proud to see ARC Core recognized as a resource for evidence-based reading instruction in our home state.” said Gina Rose, CEO at American Reading Company. “Pennsylvania educators are doing important work to ensure every student has the opportunity to become a strong, confident reader, and we’re honored to support them in that work.”
We look forward to continuing our partnership with Pennsylvania schools as we work together to ensure every student is reading and writing on or above grade level.
